Dr Festus Oshunpidan

Dr. Festus A. Oshunpidan is a Consultant neurological surgeon specializing in neuro-oncology, edoscopic brain surgery, spine surgeries, and fixation procedures. He completed his specialty training in neurosurgery at the prestigious university college Hospital Ibadan, where he earned  the Best Candidate Award in Neurosurgery award from the West African College of Surgeons. He has attended local and international trainings and conferences. His core competencies encompass various aspects of neurosurgery, reflecting his commitment to delivering the highest standard of care. He has participated and lead more than 2,000 neurosurgical procedures of different complexities.

He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Nigerian Academy of Neurological Surgeons (NANS), the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), the Society of Neuro-oncology in Subsaharan Africa (SNOSSA), the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies (WFNS), and the Nigeria Medical Association. 

Furthermore, he holds a position as a lecturer and honorary consultant neurosurgeon at the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu, contributing to the academic landscape while continuing his dedication to advancing the field of neurosurgery.
